There are lots of great Christmas themed websites with fun and free activities for kids to do. From learning traditional holiday songs to creating their very own personalized Christmas storybook, there are a number of websites out there to keep kids busy this holiday season.

NORAD

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) uses its powerful tracking system to follow Santa's whereabouts as he delivers presents to children around the world. This website gives updates on Santa's whereabouts, every five minutes, beginning on December 1st. The website uses virtual maps of the globe while tracking Santa's location. Kids will enjoy watching where Santa goes to deliver gifts, and will learn facts about each country and location along the way.

North Pole

This website offers a number of fun, free activities for kids. Children can fill out a naughty or nice questionnaire to see where they stand on Santa's list. The questionnaire includes questions like "Do you eat all your vegetables?" and "Do you listen to the babysitter?"

Other activities available on this site are sending a letter to Santa, printing out holiday stories to read and color as well as a number of educational activities. Kids can even create their very own personalized Christmas storybook. This is a great website for kids, parents and teachers.

Claus

Claus is a colorful, interactive website where kids can play games, choose an elf buddy, print out an honorary elf diploma and find out how many cookies Santa eats on his Christmas Eve trip around the world. This site is full of cute and creative illustrations and offers many fun holiday themed games and activities.

Santa

Everyday is Christmas on this jolly website featuring year-round holiday themed activities for kids. Create a Christmas wish list, learn traditional and contemporary Christmas songs or watch animated clips of Santa's reindeer and the elves surfing and playing beach volleyball. Kids can follow the activity calendar on the home page for a Christmas activity to do every day of the year.

Elf Yourself

This website allows kids and adults to upload pictures of their faces, which then become the faces on the bodies of animated elves. The elves do a silly dance and everyone gets a good laugh out of elfing themselves. The website re-opens for holiday fun on November 10th.

Whether tracking Santa on NORAD's website, or playing interactive Christmas themed games, there are a variety of holiday activities available for kids to enjoy on the web. Give these top Christmas websites a try for online holiday fun.
