Celebrate America's birthday with the following fun and patriotic printable activities for children.

Independence Day in America is steeped in tradition. From picnics and barbecues to concerts and fireworks, entertain and educate children with the following patriotic activities that are totally free of charge. A computer, Internet connection and printer are required.

  • Pencil Flag Firecracker Fran - This adorable project for children is fun, simple and free. To make, print the flag, cut along the solid lines and fold in half. With blank side facing up, glue and place the pencil in the crease. Refold the glued paper and hold until secure. Cute!
