Free Printable Easter Activities – Kids Crossword Puzzles, Holiday Worksheets, Word Search
In addition to the activities below, the DLTK website offers cryptograms, tracer pages, word ladders, and word scrambles with Easter themes.
- Kids Easter crossword puzzles – Choose from crosswords with word or picture clues, depending on the child’s grade and learning level. There is an option to include a word list for additional assistance.
- Math worksheets with Easter images – Generate multiple worksheets appropriate for grades one through five. These printables are made Easter-like by the images or characters placed on the page. Interestingly, users have the option to choose religious or secular Easter themes. For instance, a worksheet with a religious theme may display the phrase “He is risen!” while a secular page may display a duck carrying a basket of Easter eggs.

Religious Holiday Activity Idea for Children – Learning Easter Bible Verses
Parents who want their children to take away religious meaning from Easter activities may wish to make learning bible verses part of the days leading up to Easter Sunday. Easter bible verses can have many themes, from the Crucifixion to the Resurrection. While many books of the Bible reference the Resurrection, the books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are good references for the majority of Easter Bible verses.
Here is one verse that may be easy for children to memorize and/or study (from the New International Version):
Matthew 28:18-20. “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
